Susan Hinckley Greenough Bradley was a well known landscape painter from Boston who travelled and painted the world.  Her uncle was the painter Robert Cutler Hinkckley, who taught at the Corcoran School of Art.  She studied with Edward Boit in Rome in 1875 and later with Abbott Thayer and William Merritt Chase a the Boston School of the Museum of Fine Arts.  Bradley was a member of the Society of Independent Artists, Boston Watercolor Club, Philadelphia Watercolor Club and the New York Watercolor Club.
