From Giulio Ferrario’s Il Costume Antico e Moderno…l’America…, published in Milan between 1815 and 1826 in weekly installments. Giulio Ferrario was founder of the ‘Societa Tipografica de Classici Italiani’ and served as the director of the Braidense National Library in Milan, Italy. Besides Fumagalli, such notable artists as Gallina, Bonatti, Biasioli, Rossi, Bigatti, Bramati, Gallo, Monticelli and others contributed to the work.
